Rating Scale

The list of options in a closed ended question where the options are ordered, for example:

• A rating out of 10.
• "Very dissatisfied", "Somewhat dissatisfied", "Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied", "Somewhat satisfied" and "Very satisfied".

The term is sometimes also used to describe:

1. A Multi-Item Scale
2. Multiple related Multi-Item Scales.
