Post-Stratification Weights

Post-stratification weights are computed using the discrepancies between the results obtained from a survey and the results that are believed to be true (e.g., from a census). The main ways of calculating post-stratification weights are to calculate:

• Cell Weights
• Calibration Weights
• Rim Weights (Raking)

Most weights used in survey analysis are post-stratification weights.
